Believe it or not Fall is just around the corner, and we will have to trade in our shorts and flip flops for coats and boots.  Here are the trends you need to know about to be in fashion this season.  

Due to the recession, there is a return to simple, but versatile clothing and accessories that are glamorous in a conservative, sophisticated way. Suits and trench coats are also making a comeback. Along with quality and classic pieces, you will notice a romantic feel with feminine and pretty fashions: elegant ruffles, lace, chiffon, sheers, velvets and crochet.  And… fur, fur, fur! We couldn’t get by without mentioning the trend that will be everywhere - whether it is a fur coat, a fur trim collar or boots with a fur cuff at the top.  Fringe will also be popular.   

Designer colors for Fall 2010 include earth tones and classic neutrals, such as hues of grays and brown, black, steel blues, wine and gold. Bold colors are also chic and coordinate well with the earth tones to add that pop of color needed.  

Handbags and Accessories
Hobo and satchel handbags are still in along with metallics and oversized jewelry accessories.  Sophisticated, structured and slouchy handbags that are both sleek and modern are fall must-haves.  Leather, suede, velvet, croc or other animal skin prints are also popular handbag textures. Detailed beading and shiny, reflective, or shimmering embellishments are charming and will complete your autumn looks!
